Many thanks to Thea for sharing this wonderful information and these precious pictures of the WOLFF family.

Please click on the thumbnail images to see a larger version of each photograph.

These are pictures of Henry Wolff and wife Matilda Simpson Wolff. Matilda's grandparents came to Texas from North Carolina with all their children. They practically populated Weatherford and Granbury area. I have found a lot of their graves in this area.

Henry and Matilda Simpson WOLFF

Matilda's parents William Rile Simpson and Mary Emmaline Cook took their children from Texas to Oklahoma Territory in 1890's. We have not found much about Henry Wolff's family. His father was an orphan from Germany. We haven't even found info on his brothers and sisters.

Henry and Matilda Wolff eventually ended up in Colorado on the Western Slope.

Henry and Matilda are my great great grandparents. The group photo shows them with their children: Daniel Christopher Wolff, Anna Mary Byram, Mathew William Wolff, Toney Leroy Wolff, May Emmaline Wolff, Walter Henry Wolff, Louis Sidney Wolff, and Margaret Myrtle Hampton. I can only identify Henry and Matilda, the older ones, and Daniel Christopher Wolff, the tallest one. Daniel Christopher Wolff was my grandfather, although I never met him. All of these people are dead now.
