Your Rains County Genealogy "Clues from the News!"

Welcome to a Special Section that is near and dear to my heart. Thanks to the foresight of Elaine Bay of Emory, Texas, the Rains County Leader of 1913 has been preserved. In fact, I owe Elaine a much greater debt of has been her abstracts of other years of the Leader that ultimately led to the development of The Olden Times

This Special Section will eventually include every page from the 1913 Rains County Leader. And since  I have a Rains County connection, I'll take the liberty of including some of my own family history here as well.  After all, that is what this is all about: genealogy & family history!
