| This "white border" postcard features a
view of the Polk Street Depot of Chicago, Illinois. This is part of a
collection of photos and old postcards I purchased from a local antiques
store.
Edith, as she signed herself, mailed this
from Waco, Texas to Mr.. & Mrs. Roy Farmer of Fort Worth, Texas. She
informs them that she has arrived safe & sound but has been sick
with fever every day since. Postmarked August 18, 1908, it bears a
one-cent stamp. Further
information about the FARMERS and to see the other postcards &
photos, including their wedding portrait, click here. |
