View of Maxine Boats

Alexandria Bay, New York

1928

This is a "white border" postcard picturing 4 tour boats, "compliments of Captains HAAS and ADKINS." Included with the illustration is a schedule of excursions.

It was written to Mrs. J. M. QUAIL in Cleveland, Ohio, by her son Frank, who reported that he got quite a sunburn while fishing. "...it feels like a cinder and looks like a red rose," he wrote.

Postmarked September 7, 1928 from Alexandria Bay, NY, it bears a 1-cent stamp.
