Based upon the date of the marriage, I did a quick search at Ancestry to see if Daniel KELLY might be a Civil War veteran. I found an entry in the Civil War Pension Index for Daniel Kelly of Indiana, whose widow was named Margaret, and who fought with the 35th Indiana Infantry, Co. C. I don't know that this is the same soldier, but it might be a starting point for someone seeking more information.
