of Tried & True Recipes

San Antonio, Texas

Five hard-boiled eggs, one cup of cooked macaroni, half cup of grated cheese, one and three-quarters cup cream sauce, salt and paprika, onion juice, essence of anchovy, three-fourth cup of buttered bread crumbs. Cut each egg in eight pieces lengthwise, add macaroni, white sauce, and seasoning. Arrange in buttered baking dish, cover with buttered crumbs, and bake until crumbs are brown.
