On March 30, 1867, this deed was signed when William Preston DOWDY bought a parcel of land from the DYER estate. The document below is from the microfilmed record; I do not know if there is a better copy anywhere else. A note in the margin shows that this came from Fayette Co., Tennessee Deed Book Y, page 183.
