Killed in Accident

"A telephone message was received in Emory Tuesday morning bearing the sad news that Mrs. George Parvin had been killed in an accident near her home at Prosper. She was a sister of Mr. C. C. Branch and Mrs. S. H. Hood of this place. We take the following from the Star-Telegram:

McKinney, Texas - Mrs. George T. Parvin, aged about 55, was killed and a daughter, 14, painfully injured today when their horse backed the buggy off a bridge. Mrs. Parvin and her daughter were en route to Prosper from their home, two miles southeast to attend the morning service of a religious meeting.

Messrs. C. C. Branch and E. L. Allen, S. H. Hood and wife, and Mrs. Engleman left on the 2:20 train the same day to attend the funeral."
