"The San Angelo High School Orchestra, directed by Miss Hattie HOFSTETTER has been the mainstay of music in the high school. The orchestra has made two trips to the State Music Meet at Baylor College at Belton. The second of these trips, 1925, resulted in third place for San Angelo. The orchestra has sponsored two of the most entertaining lyceum courses in the circuit of Texas. Besides these courses the orchestra has staged two three-act plays, 'All a Mistake,' and 'Stray Cats.' The programs in assemblies by the orchestra have been highly appreciated and Miss HOFSTETTER deserves high praise for her work."
