From an Unknown Newspaper in Texas

I found this clipping tucked into a crumbling Victorian photo album at a flea market. I am posting the photos online on The Olden Times, in the "Victorian Scrapbook" section. These include identified pictures of the WHARTON family, among many others.
Thanks to the good folks at the Lamar County, Texas GenWeb
site (and their searchable marriage database), I was able to determine that this was Joshua F. WHARTON. I will add more information about him (or the family) as I am able to confirm it.
