This old photograph, mounted on a heavy
card and emblazoned with the photographer's name on front and back, was
purchased at an antiques shop in Kerrville, Texas.
Two boys pose in front of a formal
studio backdrop, hats in their hands. They're definitely brothers, and may even
be twins. On the back someone has written Edward Fred Wilson. Since there are
two boys, I am going to assume they meant to write Edward & Fred
Wilson.
The photographer's name is boldly
stamped on the front and back: BLUMENSCHEIN, and his address is typed on the
back: 2829 State Street, Chicago.
I don't have any more information about
these WILSON boys, but if you can provide additional information, I'd love to
post it on his page.

Victorian Seals & Sealing Wax

"Makes the perfect gift. Such a wonderful way to
finish a personal note. The ceremony is a pleasure: a candle, and heated wax
applied to paper or envelope, a signature stamp. Brass-melting spoon, three
beautifully turned wood handles with brass seals, a miniature travel burner
to melt the wax, red wax pellets and silver sealing bar. L. 6.5 in. / 16.51
cm. W. 5.59 in. / 14.2 cm. H. 1.65 in. / 4.19 cm. Diam. - in. / - cm."
