This is a linen-era postcard featuring a night scene of San Diego as seen from North Island at the U. S. Naval Air Station. The printing across the top of the card identifies this as San Diego's business district; the printing along the bottom edge identifies North Island as being in the foreground.

Linen-era postcards were printed from 1930-1945. This postcard was published by the Western Publishing and Novelty Company of Los Angeles, California. It was never used.
