Miss Mary MAY
of Buckingham County, Virginia
This obituary appeared in The Richmond Whig & Public Advertiser on Friday, May 3, 1839 (page 2, column 5). Mary MAY was the daughter of Thomas MAY, who is remembered for having donated the land on which Buckingham Courthouse is located.
