This very pretty hand colored map is from 1873 and includes the counties of Houghton and Baraga as well as Keweenaw Bay, townships, rivers, lakes and streams along with mines, villages, railroads, and roads (such as they were) in the early days of Michigan's UP. The image size is about 11x21.5" and would make an interesting framed conversation piece; single sheet."
