Vintage Linen Postcard

Lead & Zinc Mines in Northeastern Oklahoma

This linen postcard was never used. In a vertical line dividing the back you can read the notation "MWM Color-Litho 'Bursheen' Finished, Made Only by MWM - Aurora, ME." There is also the number A3388.

The description of the card's illustration reads, "Northeastern Oklahoma leads the world in the production of lead and zinc. Since a large part of the land on which these mines are located is owned by the Quapaw Indians, many have become wealthy through royalties they receive."

Yes, I found it on eBay!
