| This postcard features the Jones House in
Concord, Massachusetts, and was apparently part of a series entitled Historical
Series of Revolutionary Towns. It is black & white without any
hand tinting.
The card doesn't directly reveal its age,
since it was never used, but there are clues.
- The back is undivided, and notes,
"This side is for the address."
- It calls for a one-cent stamp for the U.
S., Island Possessions, Cuba, Canada and Mexico; foreign mailing
requires a 2-cent stamp.
- It was published by the Edith A. Buck of
Concord, Mass. A search for other cards by this publisher both on
eBay and across the web date her work in the early 20th century,
circa 1910.
