NOTE: There are two possible reasons for the date in the ad above differing from the date that I've noted for the publication. I definitely double-checked to see that the paper was indeed printed on January 29, 1859! 

First, the date in the ad may be an error - you know, the kind we all make when writing checks every January, and haven't yet gotten used to writing the new year.  In the same issue of this newspaper may be found a dated announcement concerning the Charlestown Guards.

The second possibility is that poor Mr. ADAMS has had his house on the market for a good deal longer than he would have liked. The man must've needed a good Realtor!
