The Family of Edward Everett GILBERT, M. D. and Ollie MORRIS
Dr. Edward Everett GILBERT married Ollie MORRIS on October 9, 1887, in Delta County, Texas.
He was the son of Robert Stone GILBERT, M. D. and Susan E. McGREW, and was born on May 19, 1860 in Spencer County, Kentucky. Ollie MORRIS was born on March, 1867, the daughter of G. W. MORRIS of Cooper, Delta County, Texas.
E. E. GILBERT settled in Haskell, Texas, and practiced there until his death on September 30, 1919.
Their children were:
Robert Morris GILBERT (1890-1960), who married Stella Grace AVARY (1891-1950)
Everette GILBERT (1888-1954), who married Willis BUCHANAN (1885-1937)
George Yandell GILBERT (1896-1970), who married Vivian NICHOLS (1902- )
Karl GILBERT (? - ?), who married Jewell WEAVER (1917-?)
Virginia GILBERT (1905-1978), who married Otto HOVESTADT (1883-1964)
