Vintage Embossed Easter Postcard:

Lady in a Fancy Hat

Postmarked April 21, 1908, from Cor..., Indiana

This is a striking Easter card, heavily embossed with a soft, air-brushed appearance to the colors. the embossing helps to highlight the fancy flowered hat, the huge bouquet, the flowing skirt, the "Easter Greetings," the hem of the dress and even the grass upon which the lady stands.

It was mailed to Miss Grace REYNOLDS of Rockport, Indiana, but is, unfortunately, unsigned! The message reads, "Received your card and was glad to know you got home all right." Someone tore off the stamp and part of the postmark along with it, so I can't be sure where the card was postmarked.

No publisher's name appears on the card.

This vintage Easter postcard is one of a group of postcards, photos & keepsakes that I purchased which are from Rockport, Indiana and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
