Fill de house wid joy.
Let 'em play en have his way - 
'Dat's my li'l' boy!

Go to school twell holiday,
Wid his book en toy;
"Beats de lan," he teacher say,
Dat's my li'l' boy!

Mammy gettin ole; I spec'
Soon she'll miss de joy
Er his a'ms eroun her neck.
Goodbye li'l' boy!
