A Comparison

The "a" in BURGIA does look a little bit like an "n" at first. But when you examine both lower case "a" and "n" in this "and," you may see that the "a" in BURGIA does resemble an "a" more than it does an "n." The age of this original issue of the Richmond Enquirer makes it a little tough to get a clear image!
