"Grandma" was Mary Frances ALLEN, born at Knoxville on August 20, 1842, daughter of Edmund Lily ALLEN, Sr. and Rebecca Magdalene SMITH.
Mrs. S. H. HOOD was their daughter Effie BRANCH, who married Sam H. HOOD.
