Vintage & Collectible Virginia Postcards

Bird's-Eye View of Norfolk, Virginia

This is an aerial, or "bird's-eye" view of Norfolk, Virginia, on a postcard from the Undivided Back Era.  This period of postcard publishing, according to According to Mashburn's The Postcard Price Guide, A Comprehensive Reference, ran from 1901-1907. Only the address was to be written on the back of the postcard, so many of these have writing on the front. There is often a white space left available for some brief message, as you can see on the right of this card.
